Personality |
Fang is a ruthless and strong king of the demons, part of a long line of demons that has ascended to the throne. Because of his abilities of causing pain just by looking at a person, he was both loved and feared among demons. No one dared to defy his orders, and his only reward was not hurting someone and simply saying "good job".
He was even this way to his own children, showing no favoritism. He is a lot like Dark used to be before she decided to try and stop the war, efficient and showing no mercy to his enemies no matter if they were demons or angels. He enjoys causing pain on both his subjects and his enemies, and he does so without any remorse. Fang almost always comes across as quiet but frightening. When he does talk, he inspires fear through his voice alone and often has anyone cowering beneath him. Despite that however he did seem to care for his mate and his pups. Besides just passing on his ruthless ways in battle, he did teach them much that he knew and often could be found spending time with his pups. The fondness and tenderness that he could show his family was one of the few things that kept his soul from being completely black. However he was still a cold and cruel king and because of this, his aura, or the shade of his heart, is a dark gray color, slightly tinted red but almost black. |
Earlier Life |
Fang wasn't his parent's first choice at the throne. Despite his powers, he had once been far kinder and far less willing to use it to cause pain. Because of this, his parents often turned their backs on him and his siblings didn't seem to care about him other. Having two older brothers, and being the absolute last choice for the throne, Fang wasn't that keen on trying hard to prove himself to anyone when he wouldn't change their minds no matter how well he did.
After a large battle between Angels, Demons and Hybrids however (the last for a long time that the Hybrids were involved in), his parents and siblings were all killed, leaving him as the only successor. In response to his own grief and the pressures of ruling he became even more ruthless than the demons before him in his own line, and he discovered the ability to cause pain with a simple look. He began to look for a mate, a demon that would exemplify everything a demon should be so that their children would be even stronger than those before because he didn't want to feel the sting of losing them all over again. Because of this he began visiting the slums of his own kingdom and soon found Scarlet, a wolf that was more vicious than any he had ever come across. He quickly snapped her up and made her his queen. Despite this impromptu marriage, the two quickly became both inseparable and in love, and they soon had their pups, Malice, Dark and Rage. With these three pups he began to spend time, encouraging them in his own way to succeed and to grow stronger. He soon had three pups that were nothing like his own siblings, powerful and not easily destroyed. He also quickly realized that Dark (at the time she was a pup) was the spitting image of her mother and just as fierce. He quickly decided she would be the perfect new Queen. It was during this time however, when he was making his way down to see the Normal Wolves who were asking for a treaty that he was attacked by an Angel and nearly killed. Halia, Queen on the Angels, was quick to come to his aid. She nursed him back to health but Fang was convinced that the Angels were willing to stop at nothing to kill him, and that the treaty had been a set up by the Angels to try and gain his trust them stab him in the back. His mate, Scarlet, soon came looking for him and came to the same conclusion. Scarlet killed Halia to rescue her mate, and they returned to Gonadura more willing to wage war than ever before. Soon after, during the Battle of Broken Skulls, both were killed by a grief maddened Nick, and the war continued with even more ferocity than before. |
Abilities |
Fang's demon form is called "Despair's Gaze". He cannot be surprised in his demon form because of its many working eyes covering his entire body. Each eye can glow and cause excruciating pain to lance through an opponent without Fang every having to move. But when he does move he is still extremely deadly. A single touch, no matter how feather light, can rip an enemy apart from the inside out, leaving a bloody mess behind.
His powers over Agony are so potent however that he doesn't even have to be in his demon form to cause pain. Though he cannot cause lethal pain while not in his demon form, as soon as he takes it a single look from any of his eyes (which he can control separately from one another) can cause enough explosive agony to kill virtually instantly. If there is a side effect to using his power, he is so stone solid that it never shows. Fang continues to brutally use his powers until he is killed by Nick in the Battle of Broken Skulls. There is only one clear weakness to his power, and that includes blinding all of his eyes or incorporeal beings. Part of the reason Fang was so taken with Dark was the fact that her body was never effected by his agony because it didn't exist in a physical sense, and because by turning into mist she could blind him. There are other ways to blind him, such as getting dirt or other debris in his eyes, but he was never easy to trick. In order to catch him by surprise for an attack, you had to completely blind him in one instant. His eyes were also extremely sensitive to damage if one could get close enough to attack one and withstand his powers. |
